The scene was draped in darkness for a few more seconds while the cap was removed from the camera lens.The immediate thing to note about the surroundings was that the young Xavier and his father weren't within a normal room. The walls and ceiling were white, containing no visible doors or windows, and the floor was padded. Xavier sat within the approximate center this large room surrounded by a few presents and their wrappings."You're about 12 now Xavier, and that's around the time that some changes will start happening to your body. Some of them, you won't be able to understand at first, and some might be...overwhelming at first."Xavier's father, Tyrese, stated as he knelt down at the boy's side. His appearance was almost completely identical to Xavier's when gets older except notably bulkier, bearing a beard, and a scar extending down the left side of his face."Does that mean that I can finally get out of here?"The boy inquired, glancing up at his father with sad, empty eyes. It was clear that he'd been crying earlier due to the redness surrounding his eyes, which weighed heavily upon Tyrese's heart because he'd have to reassure his son with yet another lie and fake smile."Don't worry about that, champ. You'll be out of here before you know it."

[Loading... ██▒▒▒▒▒▒ ][Initiating playback...]First, there was darkness, followed by muffled sounds of a boy talking to himself. Something along the lines of "I hope I got thing working right." Then the darkness began to peel away into the form of a young boy's palm. The view of the camera was a bit skewed, showing the lack of expertise for the one utilizing the device, but that'll only improve as this goes on."Hey everybody! My name is Xavier, I'm 13 years old, and I just found out that I have..."A rather ecstatic looking young man fully backed away from the camera, giving the screen a chance to view both his face and a fair bit of the surroundings. He seemed to be in an abandoned building, more specifically, an unfurnished ballroom. Large enough for experimenting with his powers and empty enough so that no one would be in the way. However, the downsides to this large area is that the sound quality was extremely poor at further distances."SUPER POWERS!!!"In a display of said abilities, Xavier's body suddenly zipped out of reality and left his previous location unoccupied. In that same instant, he reappeared approximately 10 or so feet away from his previous locations."I CAN TELEPOOOOORT!"His words were accompanied by a few more short displays of power before the boy ultimately settled down."I'll see you guys later. An immediate connection between everything on the table is the fact that they all pertained to a single heroine, Blink. She was fairly tall for a woman, dark-skinned, and (most notably) had vibrant, hazel eyes."My dad refuses to tell me anything about my mom and I get a weird feeling of déjà vu whenever I ask him, then forget all about it. So I did some digging myself and found a box full of these pictures in his room. And this one is mom."Out of the countless pictures of the heroine, there was only one that depicted her unmasked self. She stood beside his father with a bright smile upon her face, he had no scar upon his eye, and their fingers were interlocked at her pregnant belly."I don't know why he's hiding thid from me, but I'll get to the bottom of it on my own!"

They were inside an empty classroom with the desks pushed to the leftmost wall, a poster hung on the wall behind Xavier that said this was the photography club, and he was wearing a plain yellow t-shirt with a pair of all black pants and shoes that had each one of the colors on either foot."I don't really have any fans yet, there might be like 5 people that consistently watch my vlogs and I'm two of them."Spouted the teen in defiance...perhaps a bit of disappointment lingered in the words. Regardless, he continued on as she requested."Hey everyone, It's me, Xavier and I'm joined by a very special guest today and as you can see-"Stated Xavier-gesturing to the poster behind him with his left hand."We're in the after school photo club with my leader..."Both his sentence and image was cut off by the sudden swiveling of the camera to reveal a girl with vibrant, violet colored eyes, beautiful chocolate skin, and a grin that expanded from ear to ear."ME! Angel!""Who needs to give me my camera back."Scoffed Xavier as his hand came within frame, only to be sidestepped by the girl."I am your superior in this club, that means I have say over who and what gets recorded by my members. That means I get to be on your vlog if I want to!"Defiance led to her tongue being stuck out at Xavier, resulting in a sigh being exhaled from him."Just don't be mad if I actually upload this."
[Searching archive...][Locating: Blog #17][Loading... ██▒▒▒▒▒▒ ][Initiating playback...]It was around midnight, the sky was cloudy with the faintest hints of illumination piercing through the darkness, and in the distance was a city covered in fog, blocking off the usually lively city with a sense of foreboding. Perched upon the apex of the Transamerica Pyramid, the hushed voice of Xavier brought the silence of the night to a close as the camera panned across the surroundings."Today, ladies and gentlemen, I will scour the city for criminals to take down and bring justice upon this city. It's been around three days since you've last saw me and I've been using that time to survey the city. I have a good feeling about tonight."Past attempts at capturing criminal activities on camera turned out to be fruitless for a variety of reasons, mostly being that there were no crimes being committed or the police were already on the scene when he arrived.[Blog Ended...]
How will he save us?
Spatial Manipulation
At the age of 15, Xavier discovered that he possessed the ability to teleport short distances with either an instant or delayed interval between his disappearance and reappearance. As time passed, his mastery over the power grew more and more, giving to the realization that his power extended far being the limitations of simple teleportation.Akin to the abilities of his late mother, Xavier possessed the ability to control, manipulate, and shape space at his will. Thus, at the age of 18, he developed the ability to create rifts in space. The limitations to these abilities remains the same throughout the years, as he can only teleport/create portals to a somewhere that he’s been to before or what's within his line of sight.After an impactful loss within his life, Xavier fully sought out the path of a hero and began to experiment more and more with his powers to strengthen himself for whatever was to come. That's when he discovered he can also create a repulsive force that deals little to no damage to its target, but forces the space they occupy to push them away. He can also create an inverse effect that attracts objects or people within his range. [Note: These are not used offensively. Only to protect himself or allies from harm.]Within a radius of about 20 meters (≥70 or so feet), Xavier can freely lift and move any objects near or on his person. Such as the camera he uses to record his heroic activities, or objects too heavy for his natural strength, or himself for a rudimentary version of fight. [Note: The upper limits to what this ability can lift is about 2 tons]Due to many villains either being speedy or being able to attack from great distances, within the (previously stated) radius of Xavier's space, he can detect/sense anything that enters his space and react more accurately to their movements depending on their distance. [For beings with a significant advantage in speed, this ability won't be of much help.]
Healing
At the age of 17, Xavier developed a secondary power around the same time that his love interest began to fall ill; the ability to heal wounds and cure sicknesses. However, despite the nature of this ability, the condition of the girl continued to worsen further with no improvement until she eventually passed away while in Xavier’s arms.Through the sadness of her death, Xavier swore to achieve her dream of saving as many lives as he possibly could Even going as far as to intern at a hospital so he could encounter as many sick or injured people as possible, then attempting to heal them to full health. Through this method of cultivation, he enhanced his ability to a level that he thought would only be possible in fictional stories.Barring the severity of appendages that were severed or chronic diseases, Xavier can heal just about any wound or illness. Depending on the severity, minor illnesses and wounds can be healed almost instantly, broken bones and major diseases can take a few minutes to a hour, and ruptured internal organs may take a few hours to mend and heal.
Martial Arts
As a man that pride himself on being a healer, Xavier developed a pacifistic nature that conflicted with his heroic acts. To remedy this problem he took a few years years to learn Jiu Jitsu so that he wouldn’t be completely defenseless when coming across a criminal. While there are many strikes in this form of fighting, the main allure of it belongs to the submission techniques. Using these will allow Xavier to subdue his target while inflicting the least amount of pain onto them as possible.

With his step-mother dead, Xavier was the only one that was left to take care of her beloved Shih Tzu, Coco. She’s also the reason why Xavier began to absolutely adore dogs.

ty thattyWhen the subject (Xavier) was born, it was originally believed that he inherited the same abilities as codename Blink, after extensive testing, it was discovered that he held a power that could potentially be far more sinister. This powerset was dubbed as "The Delusions of God" due to its nature.The Left That Taketh Away: Once coming into contact with with a being that has supernatural abilities, their powers are subjugated and made as his own. It is unknown what causes victims to have their life stripped away from them, but some of the higher ups have theorized that it is because of prolonged exposure. The extent of what can be stolen or how many he can obtain is currently unknown due to a lack of test subjects, but it is imagined that there may be no limit.The Right That Giveth: Once a power has been subjugated, the subject (Xavier) is free to replicate and redistribute that however he pleases. Even after blessing multiple non-power users with the same ability as Blink, his own mastery of said ability did not diminish, nor was he restricted from distributing it to more individuals.Eye Of Heaven: Within his right eye lies both a rare phenomenon and an ability that threatens even those that hide their powers or haven't realized that they possess them. Polycoria, a rare occurrence where two or more pupils form within a single eye. It is believed that within the subject's extra pupil lies the ability to discern those with supernatural abilities from those without them.

Several tests have been conducted in order to determine what the origin of these problems are and they all resulted as inconclusive on all the normal causes, which leads us to believe that the baby itself is the issue. To put on the note, the baby is perfectly normal, more-so than it should logically be when the mother is suffering.I theorize that he, the baby, is somehow sapping the lifeforce directly from its mother, which would explain why the usually vibrant woman would suddenly lose all energy and become thin and frail over the course of a few months. We fear that she will not survive delivering the child, an unfortunate result but... I'm getting word that she is currently going into labor, so this is agent Tyrese signing off."
